The event was an unqualified success. I’m not sure how business was for competing automotive dealers in the region, but we were completely jammed with more people traffic than we’ve ever seen in our showroom in our history. Along with many the friends who were there, we were thrilled to meet so many folks who had never been to visit us previously. They loved the chance to meet a genuine Canadian Racing Superstar, and the event gave us a great chance to meet so many great new people. Our sales team and our Napa Auto Pro service specialists were literally  hopping all day.

Patrick was the epitome of professionalism. He was friendly, graceful and very appreciative of all the fans and customers he met. He signed autographs and took pictures for the better part of 6 hours so that no one would miss out. NASCAR drivers are renowned for legendary manners and deep appreciation of their audiences, and Patrick was a shining example of this.

We all know winter driving poses completely different driving challenges to all of us, and the same goes for our vehicles. It needs to be set up to run at it’s peak during winter conditions. It’s one thing when if your car breaks down in nice warm weather, it’s something entirely different when it breaks down in cold, harsh weather.

It was a real success. In fact the actual clinic was completely booked up within 20 minutes of it being announced. The group offers a wide variety of services including (but not limited to) the following:

• nationally recognized certification courses
• information sessions

Transport Canada reports that every year, 10,000 children under the age of 12 are injured in collisions. Car crashes are the leading cause of death for children and youth according to the Canadian Hospitals Injury Reporting and Prevention Program.

Based on what we saw this past Saturday, I strongly recommend that any parent or family member who drives small children attend one of S.E.A.T.S. free inspection clinics. You’ll meet some very smart and helpful volunteers, and learn about automotive safety and proper car seat installation. Plus, during the clinic there are certified inspectors available to help ensure that your children are buckled up safely.
