As a friend and valued customer, we would like to update you on the future of Marcel Belanger Pontiac Buick GMC.
As you know, GM decided to retire the Pontiac brand, and with it, the Pontiac Dealers throughout Canada and the U.S. Our family has been in this business for more than 40 years, and we’ve had the good fortune to serve generations of the nicest customers in the world. That’s not something we are willing to give up or change anytime soon.
We’ve said many times that the Belanger brand is not disposable. Cars may be built in Detroit, Tokyo and Germany, but they are bought, leased and repaired by real people dealing with real customers, right here in our community. That relationship is sacred, and no automotive head office can claim to own or control it.
Only a customer can decide who they want to deal with, and for what reasons. We are very comfortable with this fact, which is why, after considering our options reviewing several very exciting offers from well known automotive brands; we’ve decided to continue to build the brand that our customers have told us they want: The Belanger Automotive brand.
Our family is extremely proud to announce the creation of Belanger Automax, soon to be home to the largest and widest selection of exceptional pre-owned vehicles in Ottawa. Our goal is to grow the Belanger Automax brand into the premier multi-brand pre-owned vehicle destination between Ottawa and Montreal.
And, along with the new Belanger Automax brand, we’re also proud to announce that our state of the art service centre and collision centre will be rebranded as Belanger Napa AutoPro Service Centre and Belanger Napa Collision Centre. Here you will find the same highly personal service you’ve come to expect from us, but delivered with the resources and peace of mind you can only get from one of the most trusted service brands in the world. It’s an unbeatable value combination for our customers and we can’t wait to get started. We’ll be sharing all the great details with you shortly.
Can Belanger Automax / Belanger Napa AutoPro service my existing GM warranty?
You paid good money for your vehicle so we want to see you take full advantage of it. Our superb service staff can take care of any of your regular and non-warranty service needs, and if we notice a potential warranty issue or a service recall, we will arrange an appointment with our recommended dealer. In some cases, we may even be able to deliver your vehicle to the dealer at no extra charge to you. The bottom line: no matter what your service issue, no one knows you or your vehicle better than we do, and no one is going to take your well being as personally as we will. Guaranteed
Extended General Motors Protection Plan (GMPP):
If you have an extended General Motors Protection Plan or any other extended warranty plan, then it’s business as usual with us! We are fully authorized to perform all warranty work that falls beyond the original factory warranty, and you can rest assured we’ll work harder than ever to make certain you get that full value of the warranties you’ve paid for.

When will you make the changes at the dealership?
We expect to make all of this official on Dec.1st, 2009. We’re working on the details and you can be sure we’ll let you know all the news as soon as we can, for when we do launch the Belanger AutoMax and Belanger NAPA Autopro Service Centre and Collision Centre brands, we plan to do it with a special event that includes our friends, and that means you.
Will the dealership close during this transition?
Absolutely not: we are working diligently with all those involved to change to a new entity over a weekend timeframe! We won’t miss a beat.

Comme vous le savez, GM a décidé de mettre fin à la production du modèle Pontiac causant la fermeture des concessionnaires ayant affiché cette bannière à travers le Canada et les États-Unis. Nous sommes en affaires depuis plus de 40 ans et nous avons été privilégiés de servir plusieurs générations de clients incroyables. Votre considération n’est pas à rejeter du revers de la main.
Nous avons dit et répété que la raison sociale « Bélanger» ne sera pas écartée et démantelée pour autant. Les voitures peuvent être construites à Détroit, Tokyo ou en Allemagne mais elles sont achetées, louées et réparées par de vrais individus avec de vrais clients ici même dans notre communauté. Cette relation est sacrée. Aucun bureau chef de manufacturier ne peut prétendre l’appartenir ou la contrôler. Seul le client peut décider avec qui il veut transiger pour les raisons qui lui sont propres.
Nous sommes très à l’aise avec ce fait pour lequel, après avoir analysé plusieurs scénarios et offres de manufacturiers connus, la famille Bélanger a pris la décision d’offrir la marque réclamée par sa clientèle.

Est-ce que Bélanger Automax/Centre de Service Bélanger Napa AutoPro effectuera les réparations sous ma garantie GM ?
Vous avez déboursé une somme significative pour l’achat (ou la location) de votre voiture. Alors, vous devriez en profiter pleinement. Notre équipe de techniciens est là pour effectuer la maintenace régulière de votre voiture. Cependant si nous constatons, à l’inspection de votre voiture, que certains travaux devraient étre effectué sous votre garantie GM, nous vous conseillerons et fixerons un rendez-vous chez un concessionnaire recommandé. Dans certains cas, il sera possible de livrer votre voiture chez le concessionnaire choisi sans frais additionnels.
Plan de Protection GM (PPGM)
Si vous avez actuellement le Plan de Protection GM (PPGM) ou tout autre garantie prolongee de d’autres manufacturiers, soyez sans crainte. Nous pouvons faire toutes les reparations sous le plan PPGM ou autre tant et aussi longtemps que la garantie de base du manufacturier soit échu. Nous ferons tout pour que vous puissiez bénéficier de toutes les garanties possibles de votre voiture choisie. Soyons clair! Quelque soit le but de votre visite, personne ne vous connaît mieux que nous ainsi que l’état de votre voiture.
Personne ne peut protéger autant que nous votre bien-être. C’est garanti.
Quand ferez-vous le changement de bannière ?
Nous effectuerons le changement le 1er décembre 2009. Nous travaillons présentement à finaliser certains détails. Le concessionnaire fermera-t-il ses portes durant la transition ?
Absolument pas. Nous sommes à finaliser plusieurs détails et anticipons effectuer une transformation transparente. En terminant, n’hésitez pas à communiquer avec nous si vous avez des questions concernant cette nouvelle orientation.
